Empowering Recovery Through Innovation

Trusted tools, user‑driven design, clinician‑approved.

Wareologie™

Who We Are

Wareologie™ is a woman-owned healthcare innovation company dedicated to advancing mobility and rehabilitation with smarter, more accessible tools. We design and partner with leading innovators to deliver clinician-approved solutions that support prevention, wellness, and recovery.

Our journey began in 2021 through a collaboration with the VHA Innovation Network to develop our flagship product, the Portable Parallel Bars, created to meet the urgent need for safe, efficient bedside rehabilitation. Now manufactured by Armedica, following their acquisition by Pivotal Health Solutions Medical, the Portable Parallel Bars are transforming care in ICUs, rehab centers, and home environments alike. This success laid the foundation for Wareologie™ to expand beyond a single product and forge new partnerships with technology leaders to drive the next wave of mobility and rehabilitation solutions.

Founded by Gina Adams, Wareologie™ reflects her lived experience, professional expertise, and relentless commitment to solving real-world challenges in physical therapy, aging, and assistive technology. Certified by both WBENC and SBA WOSB, we continue to grow through partnerships that embody our core values: trust, innovation, and care.

How We Work

We create proprietary assistive technologies and represent an exclusive portfolio of innovative healthcare companies, delivering solutions proven to work in real-world care—not just in theory. Through user-centered R&D with healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers, we develop and champion tools that drive measurable outcomes. From our flagship Portable Parallel Bars with Armedica™ to Vielight’s groundbreaking photobiomodulation brain stimulation therapy for traumatic brain injury, we focus on evidence-based innovations that restore mobility, support prevention, enable independence, and empower every step of recovery.
Collaborative Design Workshops

Involving physical therapists, occupational therapists, and end-users to understand workflow challenges, accessibility needs, and clinical goals.

Clinical Validation & Field Testing

All Wareologie™ devices undergo hands-on testing in hospitals, rehab clinics, and long-term care facilities to ensure they meet rigorous safety and usability standards.

Iterative
Prototyping

We refine and evolve our products based on continuous feedback, ensuring that the final result is not just functional, but transformative.

Our Purpose in Motion

At Wareologie™, we’re redefining recovery and wellness, making it more wearable, personal, and empowering. Every product we create is designed to restore confidence, support independence, and bring care into the everyday moments that matter most.

We don’t just develop tools, we advocate for a future where healing is human-centered, mobility is possible, and people feel seen, supported, and strong throughout their journey.

Wareologie™
Advance Safety

We design tools that reduce fall risk, minimize patient transport, and support safe bedside rehab, especially in high-acuity settings like the ICU.

Restore Confidence

Rehabilitation is emotional as well as physical. Our products provide stability and consistency, helping patients trust their own bodies again.

Enable Independence

From mobile parallel bars to wearable wellness devices, we build products that support aging in place, homecare, and self-managed recovery.

Remove Barriers

Innovation should be inclusive. We partner with institutions, caregivers, and clinicians to deliver tools that reach every corner of the care continuum.

Our Journey - From Inspiration to Impact

Wareologie™ was born from a deeply personal experience. When founder Gina Adams witnessed her stepfather’s challenges living with Parkinson’s disease, she saw firsthand the gaps in accessible rehabilitation. Motivated to change the system, she launched Wareologie™ to design tools that bring care closer to the patient.

Over the years, our journey has been marked by breakthrough moments and impactful milestones:

1

2010s

Gina begins prototyping adaptive hardware concepts, gaining attention for inclusive design thinking.

2

2019

Wareologie™ becomes certified by WBENC and launches its first line of consumer products.

3

2022

Wareologie™ joins the AARP AgeTech Collaborative and forms alliances with Lawrence Tech University and Centrepolis Accelerator, expanding clinical research and development.

4

2023

The company gains national exposure through media, pitch events, and healthcare tradeshows, including CES.

5

2025

Launch of the Armedica™ Portable Parallel Bars in partnership with Pivotal Health Solutions, ushering in a new era of transportable rehabilitation equipment for hospitals and homecare providers.

Our story continues, driven by a mission to improve mobility, reduce barriers to care, and give patients the tools they need to thrive.

Game Changer!

As a PT, having access to bedside gait training tools is essential. These portable bars are a game changer for safe mobilization early in the recovery process.
